Doctor Visit // Closed RP
The look she gave him had him lifting his shoulders in a bit of an awkward shrug and he faintly chuckled under his breath. It couldn’t be said he had a fear of needles, Lord knows he’s been stabbed by worse things, he like many people simply didn’t like them. It was that unusual burn of being injected with something that unnerved him. “Oh? Ah that’s unfortunate. I guess I’ll have to come back for that another time.”
Tilting his head slightly, he glanced from her, to the cloth and then up to look over the room for a proper place to sit. Crossing over to a chair he settled into it and laid his hat upon his thigh. “No corners, huh? I take it you have a lot of visitors trying to keep their backs protected? Seems to come with the territory around here.”
Pushing up the sleeve that covered his left arm, he took a moment to occupy his fingers with rolling the material, making sure it remained in place. “I should look into getting that shot later, though. From what I hear it’s pretty mandatory around here with the cooler weather and what not.”
"Maybe tomorrow? I haven’t checked the schedule for the shipment yet. Hold on," Shamsel went to the small bulletin board just beside the door, flipping through papers. "Ach, ja. It’s going to be tomorrow along with the rest of the items." she walked back to her desk and opened the upper drawer, where her instruments were located. She took them out carefully one by one, not wanting to break any of them.
She took extra care with the thermometer, seeing as some of the mercenaries tend to…’accidentally’ break them (aka they thought it will pierce them).
"I honestly have no idea why they want to keep their backs for themselves, und then ask my why my check-up is incomplete," she grumbled. "That’s why I decided that once people come in my medbay, they have to follow my rules.
Und ja, shots are important. The higher-ups wouldn’t want the mercs to go into battle with snot all over.”
